Traveller from Hampton stayed in August,2009

At first the location doesn't seem too great but as soon as you explore the wonderful back streets, you're about 15 minutes walk from the Cathedral; 10 minutes from shops; couple of minutes from decent bars and restaurants. The pool was great when it was so hot in the late afternoon. Staff aren't that helpful - not rude, just pretty disinterested. Breakfast, beds and cleanliness were excellent. We've stayed previously in the Hotel Monte Triana, on the other side of the river and althugh it has no swimming pool, prefer it due to the staff and the more 'local' location.

Top Tip:
Dive off the back streets and find bars and restaurants full of locals. Walk as much as you can - even though the taxis are cheap - you see so much more. La Giralda is well worth a visit but our favourite is the Real Alcazar! Try the flamenco show without dinner at El Arenal, absolutely beautiful.
