The roof top pool was a welcome bonus providing somewhere to relax and escape from the heat of the day. The cafe was also an ideal place to sit in the evenings for a relaxing drink.A very quiet hotel we would definately return.
Top Tip
Ideally situated for all the major attractions.

We booked this hotel because of the promise of car parking according to the website. We were annoyed to find that there are actually only 25 spaces for over 500 rooms. We had to park over a mile away at a cost of 20 Euros per day!

Great location 10 mins from Cathedral. Traditional hotel which was spotless. If arriving by car be sure to prebook a space in their car park.

As far as the above are concerned we would recommend the hotel. BUT we asked for a non-smoking room but the pillows reeked of smoke. The breakfast would have been enjoyable but everything was cold.

Watch out for rip off taxis from Airport.. The agreed price is 22 Euro on Sundays / Bank Holidays & Evenings.. Less at other times. Some taxis will show you a piece of paper showing a fare of 32 Euros.. Dont pay it..

No aircon and extremely noisy disco adjacent to Hotel.Luckily, the Hotel was able to provide an alternate room.
Top Tip
The Leylandi, next to the Hotel, is a good tapas bar and restaurant with excellent service.

The hotel was just what we expected from the reviews we had read on Tripadvisor and the rate we paid via Hotelsby phone was a fraction of the rate you would pay if you walked in off the street to book a room.
Top Tip
The La Leyenda bar/restaurant right by the the front door of The Becquer had good food and was inexpensive.

Great location for a stay in Seville - there are more centrally located places, but the Becquer is only a few minutes of interesting walking from the centre and only two minutes from the river.
Top Tip
We went seriously up-market for a couple of meals which may have been a misjudgement - some of the tapas restaurants looked the better bet. More life, more atmosphere and MORE CHANGE because Seville is not a cheap place by Yorkshire standards!
