Great location and lots of character. Trouble is they are going through renovation and are in some disarray - no wifi, no international phone calls, faulty door cards, some parts looking tired. Staff a bit haphazard and poorish English. Rooftop swimming pool plus but a bit run down. Will all be much better when renovation completed.
Top Tip
Very well located for all the old town sights, restaurants and cafes.

The hotel was a nightmare to find. We ended up parking on the street and asking directions to get there on foot. However the staff were very helpful and someone walked back with us to bring the car to the hotel's car park. Location-wise, it couldn't have been better situated and the small rooftop pool provided a perfect spot to unwind after sightseeing. We'd book it again.

We wish we'd taken the time to find a restaurant with Flamenco dancing before we set out for the evening. Also the queues to go up the Giralda on a Sunday were very long as its only open for a short time that day.

Very quiet as early season, so cafeteria etc a bit understaffed, however advantages in there being so few guests

The only disadvantage to being so near to the cathedral is that the bells can keep you awake all night! Our first room was very dark so we asked to change and were given a better one at no extra cost.
Top Tip
View the historic buildings as soon as they open in the morning because they get very busy later on,even in a quiet week between fiestas in April.

Cramped bedrooms for a 4 star, service at best average, at times indifferent, claustrophbic elements to the hotel, very convenient location. right next door to cathedral so be ready to be woken by the bells. make sure you get a big room, this may take complaining to the front desk. dont rely on wining and dining in the restaurant.
Top Tip
dont bring a car - nowhere to park,
